I'm not typically one to join. At a party, I prefer to hang out in the kitchen. If there's a game going on, I sit on the sidelines. But lately I've been thinking, if I don't join, won't I miss out?
So I'm making an effort to join. Join is my word for the month of January. This week I'm joining Poppytalk's Colour Week. I love it when people spell color with a "u". Gotta love Canada.
Yesterday, keeping my word in mind, I joined the boys at the basketball court and shot some hoops. With the basketball and with my camera.
Join Colour Week over on Flickr. See you there!
P.S. Crocheted heart garlands are in the shop!
Beautiful reds. And you joined the game but in your own style -- with a camera.
ReplyDeleteit's always more fun to join in the play.
ReplyDeleteyour capture of your chicken is incredible!
Beautiful choices for the color red.
ReplyDeleteI'm not usually a joiner either, but I committed to 365 Project for this year. I'm sorry to say my pictures aren't nearly as creative as yours.
ooh! such an inspiring flickr group.
ReplyDeleteI think I might join along this week too.

Behaviour, neighbour, chesterfield, cheque, toque, fibre, centre...we're full of good words north of the border. That and cold of course, at least right now.
ReplyDeleteI love what you said - I am working on saying no, stepping down, so I can "join" more. Make any sense?
ReplyDeleteLove this pop of red in the middle of a gray and white winter's day!! Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos! I joined, too, and noticed your crocheted hearts.
ReplyDeleteLove this idea! And I will "join" in saying that pic of the chicken is an amazing shot! I'm off to the shop to (hopefully) score a heart garland.
