Don't you just love getting mail from a friend? Especially when it's an unexpected surprise?
Beautiful Tara, of Eyebuzz Gallery/Eyeblog, sent me these beautiful photos, completely out of the blue. I love them both. It got me thinking, what if each of us printed a few of our favorite pictures and sent them to a friend? For the price of a few prints and postage we could make a friend's day. Thank you Tara for making mine.
Oh, Molly, and you just made mine, in return. I actually have thought about that-a sort of pay it forward chain of little gifting. It doesn't take much more than a thought and a little time, but I wanted to say in some way: nice to have met you.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! You two might just start a revolution in thoughtful mail sending.

ReplyDeletei agree! it is something that i have been doing for the past 2 years because i really feel that people love to get mail too. being able to touch and hold something that was sent to you in the mail is so much more lovely and personal then reading an email. sherry

I hear ya...I started doing this when I first did a swap...it was a photo swap...I loved it. It just might be time to do one again- but who needs a swap? I might do it "just because"
