More Please

Vitamin C
Another cup of tea
A box of See's
A few extra z's

Many thanks to my sweetheart for making all of the above possible (though the candy is from his dad - a Valentine's Day tradition). While George is shuttling the kids around this afternoon, I'm actually making dinner. Believe it or not, I miss my own cooking. Nothing fancy, just chicken with lots of garlic, roasted potatoes, and broccoli with cheese. And if all goes well, we will have our first drawing class tonight after I surprise the kids with new sketchbooks. I actually sketched a bowl of peeled potatoes sitting on a cutting board today to warm up my rusty drawing skills.
And maybe, just maybe, repurposed fingerless gloves for tomorrow.

  3. I like the comment from chilpepdad. I think I will embroider that somewhere!

I saw your sweety and your two sweet ones yesterday driving down the road and my second thought was "Molly's got free time, you go Molly!" My first thought was "look how cute they all look in the truck."

  4. Wow "chilpepdad" did you make that up? You amaze me!You're right "psst", I should cross stitch it on something. Maybe a bookmark.
Molly, can't wait to see how the drawing goes. You're so good at drawing, maybe I should get you a brand new sketchpad.
We're in need of wall art for our home.

  8. I tried drawing classes with a homeschool support group we were in, and I couldn't believe it that some kids were not interested in learning to draw. That hadn't occurred to me. My kids carry sketchbooks around with them in the car, etc. Hope it goes well for you!

  9. This was the post that brought me to Foothill Home. Last winter I wanted fingerless gloves but being a novice knitter the patterns intimidated me. But this! This I could do. Went to my favorite thrift today and found a black lambswool sweater with cables down the sleeves, so cute! I can't wait to try it. Then maybe embroider small leaves and flowers... maybe. But do you cut them out with the sleeve at the hand and the cuff up your wrist or the other way around? Felt them before or after? So many questions!
