It seems like ages ago that my neighbor, Marjorie, called with the exciting news that our friend Jade, founder of Craft Hope, had signed a book deal. Jade was looking for projects for the book; was I interested in contributing? Of course!
Within weeks, I had a project written up, completed, photographed, and shipped. I had almost forgotten about the whole thing when the book finally came out. I have to admit, it was a thrill to see my name in print. But even more thrilling was the entirety of the book, all the projects it contained, and the whole miracle that is Craft Hope.
The book came out at the same time I decided, for family reasons, to take a break from the internet. I missed the hype of the release, and I tucked away my extra copy to give away at a later date. Well, now is the later date. I have an extra copy of Craft Hope for one reader. And just in time for Craft Hope's Project 10 - Pick a Project. Pick any project from the book - or from your own crafty repertoire - and send it to the charity of your choice.
Leave a comment for a chance to win your own copy of Craft Hope, and I will announce a winner on Friday, December 17. 'Til then, I'll be busy crafting a little hope, a little magic, a lot of love, and, of course, a huge mess.
