Nothing But

I went to the beach with nothing but my camera and sun hat.

I went to the beach and did nothing but sit and watch the kids play.

I went to the beach and discovered I need nothing but nothing.

  1. I love the pictures...great self-portraints.

We were at Bodega Bay this weekend. I got to take walks near and on the beach. I live too far from the shore. There is a peace I feel at the ocean that I just don't experience anywhere else. It's like being home.

Nice to see your pretty face, my friend.

Ahhh... so nice. That's all it takes right? Kids, sea, sand, sun hat, and a pretty pin-dot blouse... nothing more.

  11. My favorite way to go to the beach ... with nothing, but nothing ;). Sometimes, a kite is fun, too, though, but as I live so close, and we go sporadically throughout the year, most of the time, it's spur-of-the-moment, and all I have are a pair a sunglasses and my kids ;). What else does one need?

  16. Oh, I have loved catching up on your blog the last few (quiet) moments before dinner. I was just thinking this morning about the very same thing...so greatful to have "nothing" to do today...in the immediate sense of the word of course. Thanks for your thoughts this early evening.
